The Pelham Middle School production of "Bye Bye Birdie" will come to the Pelham Memorial High School auditorium February 1-3 with 7 pm performances Friday and Saturday and a 2 pm matinee on Sunday.
A loving musical comedy send-up of the early 1960s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll, "Bye Bye Birdie" remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. This Young Performers’ Edition is a one-hour adaptation specially tailored for middle school-aged performers.
Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted, so he chooses all-American girl Kim McAfee for a very public farewell kiss. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score and a hilarious script, "Bye Bye Birdie" remains one of the most popular shows in schools across the country. Hit songs include “Put on a Happy Face,” “One Last Kiss,” “One Boy,” “A Lot of Livin’ to Do,” “Kids!”
Come join us for this perfect family musical in the Pelham Memorial High School auditorium.
