Dear Pelham Middle School Parents and Guardians,

On Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3, we will be holding our fall Parent-Teacher Conferences. This is an opportunity for parents and teachers to meet to discuss any issues of concern. On each of the two days, students will be dismissed from school at noon and conferences will be held from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Each conference will last for five minutes and will take place virtually over Google Meet. In order to allow enough time for all parents, please schedule sessions with teachers only when you have a concern or question regarding your child’s learning.

Parents can schedule conferences using the internet-based appointment booking system Pick-a-Time. You may start making appointments beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24 and up until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1. Detailed instructions on how to make appointments using the online system are on the reverse side of this letter. For security reasons, you will be asked for your child’s “Student ID#” and will then be prompted to supply a “Security Value.”

Listed below are your child’s Student ID# and Security Value:

First      Last                     Student ID#: 000000000  Security Value: 00/00/0000

If you do not have access to the internet, you may call the Middle School office at 914-738-8190 x1235 beginning on Tuesday, November 24 at 8 a.m. and we can assist you in making your appointments.

Prior to your scheduled session, you will receive a Google Meet link that will allow you to meet virtually with your child’s teacher. Due to the limited time available, it is important that you join the Meet precisely at the time your conference is scheduled to begin and that you finish at the time it is scheduled to end to avoid overlapping with another parent’s session. If you need translation services for your conference, please email Ms. Valerie Lakestream, World Language Coordinator, at

While we regret not being able to host our conferences in person this year, we are looking forward to a successful opportunity to connect with you and strengthen our collaboration.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
