National Geographic Bee winner Sebastian Fisher stands in front of a map of the United States.

Eighth grader Sebastian Fisher won this year’s school-wide National Geographic Bee with 8th grader Russell Eustace and 7th grader Ben Sasson finishing in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Sebastian and other school-wide winners from across New York State will now take a written test with the top 100 scorers advancing to the state competition in Albany.

Pelham Students take a stand against bullying! P.R.I.D.E.

During Anti-Bullying Week, students pledged to join together to stop bullying and they expressed ways in which they can do so.

​Tom firmly believed the most important thing we can do for our children is to give them the best education possible. In order to support his family through this difficult time, the Pelham Teachers' Association has established a Fund that will be used to assist with college related expenses for his children.

Helga Luden, a holocaust survivor, speaks to the 8th grade about her experiences during the holocaust.

Pelham Middle School 8th graders learned firsthand about the horrors of the Holocaust from two guest speakers whose lives were upended by the atrocity. Esther Geizhals and Helga Schmitz-Fernich Luden were younger than 10 when they were forced to abandon their homes in Poland and Germany respectively because they and their families were Jewish.
