Pelham Middle School began our next stage of Distance Learning by launching live Virtual Office Hours. Please click read more below to see the schedule of times for these live sessions of up to 45 minutes. We believe that these experiences address two important social/emotional themes: normalcy and personalization. We are all feeling isolated and disconnected from one another. Daily routines are disrupted. By instituting Virtual Office Hours, we hope to provide children (and teachers) one step towards reestablishing a learning community.

The High School Chorus, directed by Mrs. Abeshouse, performed holiday songs in the Middle School lobby as the students arrive for school on Thursday morning, December 19th.

Congratulations to Julia Meyerson whose research project on Alan Turing won Second Place in the Junior Individual Documentary category at the New York State History Day Competition.
Pelham Middle School 8th graders learned firsthand about the horrors of the Holocaust from two guest speakers whose lives were upended by the atrocity. Esther Geizhals and Helga Schmitz-Fernich Luden were younger than 10 when they were forced to abandon their homes in Poland and Germany respectively because they and their families were Jewish.
