News & Information

Holocaust Survivors Visit PMS

Holocaust survivors Sami Steigmann and Hannah Holsten shared their incredible stories of survival with Pelham’s 8th graders on March 7th and 18th, respectively. Sami and Hannah's presentations continued a longstanding tradition that augments the students’ study of the Holocaust and World War II. Prior to the discussion, 8th graders completed their reading and study of “Night” by Elie Wiesel. Following the presentations, the students had the opportunity to ask questions of Mr. Steigmann and Ms. Holsten.
